Comments: What a fun knit! During the last few weeks I started to see a lot of people online knitting entrelac using Patons SWS and I couldn't resist. Entrelac is a fun technique and the scarf is just so cute. I really like the Patons SWS and it is very nice that it is in a worsted weight. I like Rowan Tapestry, which is also 70% Wool, 30% Soy, but as it is only available in a DK weight it doesn't make for a quick knit (see never-ending Tapestry scarf in the Knits in Progress list to the right). This scarf is my first entrelac, but I have this really cute Malabrigo color, Melilla, that would be perfect for this pattern. My only complaint about the SWS is that in one skein I found 3 knots! In the others one knot was the norm. This is pretty annoying especially as it would sometimes have a big color shift. Even with the knots, I'm still very pleased with the scarf and I'll wear it happily.
I got a bit of a start on Thermal yesterday, but this knit is not going to make for any exciting photos. What you see to the right is the product of 4 or so hours of knitting. It's 280 stitches done in 1x1 Twisted Rib on US1 (2.0mm) needles. I need two inches and I'm half an inch away. The Knit Picks Gloss (Dusk) is very nice to knit. It's not splitty at all and the little bit of silk in it gives it that kind of crunchy texture. Luckily I'm enjoying the yarn since this may take weeks and weeks to knit. :)

I like that Entrelac scarf, I just ordered some Malabrigo that might work nice with that. And I just knew that thermal would take forever, but you'll probably whip it out in a week or so.
Your scarf turned out so nice!! love those colors!
I've got Patons SWS stashed away. Your scarf turned out great. I love the green in between, very fresh looking. You are couragous to knit a sweater with 2mm needles!
Yowza! that was fast. It looks great...I really love Entrelac...why does it go faster than regular knitting d'ya think?
So, are you up for some entrelac socks? Maybe we can have a KAL, since I really want to make entrelac socks and I"m scared to do so!
That scarf is fabulous! Love the colours too.
