slow news day

Not much happening in the world of knitting (or even my non-knitting world). Last night I got to the point in the Green Gable pattern where the sleeves are put onto waste yarn. I tried it on and I am pleased with the fit. I'm doing the XL/40 inch size and I'm getting 3 1/2 inches of ease. It's a little ittybit looser that I want so I may add some waist shaping. For now, I'm in the stretch of inches and inches of stockinette in the round. I leave for St. Louis at 4 am. Ugh.

I just downloaded this pattern and am off to the lys to get some yarn. I really like how this is looking! Not sure what color I'll get though...maybe an off white?

Did you check the Grean Gable KAL? Someone did the math and you can see that the smaller sizes run smaller and the larger sizes run a little large. It seems like the medium knits up to the right size.

Have fun at your sister-in-law's graduation!

Great color as always Alyssa. You'll have to explain that whole EASE bit to me again. I learned some about it at STitches last year with Barry klein class, but I need to understand it better...and again.
