Happy 4th of July!

Just a quick post to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July! I hope the barbecues and fireworks are wonderful wherever you may be:) No big plans for Matt and me, but we will go see the Evanston fireworks tonight with some friends. I love fireworks!

And here's a little knitting progress...the first sock of July is complete. Sock. Singular. It's a start:) The details: Vesper Sock Yarn in Strange Little Mama. Plain sock pattern with picot cuff using Ann Budd's Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns.

Knitting GROUP is meeting tomorrow night at the Borders cafe in Wilmette (corner of Lake and Skokie) from 6:30 until 8:00. We're weekly now!

Happy holiday to you!

The sock looks great. I have that very yarn & have yet to decide what pattern to use. I have a turtleneck that almost matches it, so I'm looking forward to casting on for that.

See you at GROUP tomorrow!
